The HR Manager will play a critical role as the key HR Operations liaison. This role will provide a broad range of strategic HR support to achieve the segment’s business objectives, including talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, and employee engagement. Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a qualified Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. With guidance from the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Specialist will help administer the payroll function in order to enhance department efficiency and ensure appropriate records are maintained. This qualified individual will also provide support to the HR Operations Team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:- Prepares and processes bi-weekly payroll from beginning to end which includes retrieving data from Time and Attendance systems, entering all payroll and employee data into Payroll and HR Profile systems, calculating changes, and balancing payroll for submission. - Track and follow up on all deductions including but not limited to 401(k), garnishments, and group insurance.- Reviews and approves payroll received for accuracy.- Monitors, replies, and completes inquiries in internal case tracking system (ServiceNow). - Conducts a bi-weekly audit of Axalta’s employee payroll to ensure correct employee information data entry, including hours worked.- Create, prepare and submit all payroll reports to various vendors, websites or internal departments - Performs all data entry for new hires, status changes and termination processing within the Payroll, HR and Time and Attendance systems.- Assists with troubleshooting timekeeping issues (Kronos Workforce Dimensions) - Processes and files all Employee Status Change Forms.- Maintains employee files, ensuring all required documentation is contained within each file.
