TSR-in training is an opportunity to build technical knowledge to eventually work directly at an automotive assembly plant in Ontario as a Technical Service Representative for Axalta Coating Systems. Initially as part of the Technical and Quality Assurance team at the Ajax Plant location, the role will perform standard laboratory tests to evaluate automotive performance coatings and paint application methods and will learn about production and trouble-shooting product issues. This is an exciting opportunity to be introduced to the coatings business and original equipment manufacturing in Ontario. - performing basic standard laboratory tests- performing testing of samples (customer or production) according to ASTM standards- evaluating test results, summarizing findings and communicating needed adjustments- performing QA tests of manufactured product and communicating results to production operators- evaluating product components according to standards using laboratory paint testing equipment- evaluating product on various substrates using paint application equipment and summarizing and communicating results

The Technical Service Specialist provides on-going technical and customer support to ensure successful product use at the customer location.
