The Global Income Tax Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing the global tax accounting process for the interim and year-end income tax provision under ASC 740. Specifically, this includes responsibility for financial statement presentation, footnote disclosures, related tax account reconciliations and journal entries. The GIC group develops high performance coatings for the Transportation, Refinish, and General Industrial markets.- Synthesis of new polymers for use in advanced coatings.- Rational design of polymer architectures to achieve targeted properties.- Characterization of polymer microstructure. - Characterization of macroscopic properties, including thermal, rheological, and mechanical.- Correlation of polymer structure with observed properties. - Collaborate with a multi-faceted, global team in the development of novel coating systems for key markets. - Work with multiple functions within the organization to drive novel coating systems to commercialization. - Develop intellectual property protection for key innovations.- Supervise associate investigator(s), organize work flow, including setting and meeting key deadlines.- Provide technical mentorship to junior level colleagues.#LI-GM1
