The successful candidate for this job will be a key member of the Technology Organization with a focus on the Raw Materials used by Axalta.  Raw Material focus is for all Technologies and products within Axalta and across all businesses (Refinish, Industrial and Mobility).

• Portfolio management of 200+ global qualification projects.
• NA Regional RMT Manager responsible for implementation of all key programs at all NA sites
• Run NA MOC meetings for RM programs
• Team execution by leading effective RMT program management that successfully delivers results on time.
• Work with Global Procurement Team (Directors, Category Managers) to deliver joint financial, supply continuity and innovation objectives.
• Member of a “Matched Pair” RM Category (Procurement and Technology partnership) to develop strategy for the RM category.
• Interface with Global Suppliers for specifications and strategic programs.
• Manage supplier development programs with global new suppliers to enable RM game changers and supply security.
• Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the department efficiently and effectively.
• Travel to NA sites and suppliers as needed

• Master's degree or equivalent, advanced degree desirable.
• 10+ years' experience in progressive work experience in complex, matrix environment.
• 5+ years' experience managing technical professionals.
• Technical knowledge and experience in coating area or related.
• Business acumen and knowledge of basic economics and budgeting.
• Effective written and oral communication skills and organizational management skills.
• Skilled at interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
• Ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization's management team that provides leadership and direction.
• Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
